Job Summary

Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Database Developer to design develop and maintain robust database solutions supporting our regulatory reporting requirements. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SQL development database performance optimization and data validation with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts AWS BI and BAU teams. This role plays a key part in ensuring the reliability and stability of our regulatory data platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop logical and physical database models based on business and regulatory requirements.

Develop efficient and complex SQL queries stored procedures functions triggers and ETL processes.

Collaborate with the AWS team to support and build data pipelines and orchestration workflows.

Optimize and tune queries for high-volume data processing ensuring scalability and performance.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality database solutions within timelines.

Ensure data integrity consistency security and availability across systems.

Support testing activities by analyzing defects troubleshooting issues and providing database expertise.

Perform and support database deployments during testing and release cycles.

Document database structures data flows and development processes.

Required Qualifications:

8 years of professional experience in database development.

Expert-level proficiency in SQL with hands-on experience in major RDBMS platforms such as SQL Server PostgreSQL Oracle or MySQL.

Strong experience in writing complex SQL queries stored procedures and functions.

Proven expertise in query optimization and performance tuning.

Solid experience in designing and managing ETL processes and data pipelines.

Experience in Data Warehousing and Data Migration projects is a definite plus.
