Job Summary
Unibasic / Unidata / Pickbasic Developer
Location: Bengalore
Exp; 7Yrs
We are looking for an experienced Unibasic / Unidata / Pickbasic Developer skilled in MultiValue database environments. The candidate will design develop test troubleshoot and maintain applications while collaborating with business and technical teams to deliver stable and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop test and maintain applications using Unibasic Unidata and Pickbasic.
- Work with MultiValue Databases (MVDB) to build efficient and scalable solutions.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Perform system integration data migration and performance tuning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with business analysts testers and infrastructure teams.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including design specifications and user manuals.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Unibasic Unidata and Pickbasic programming.
- Experience working with MultiValue Databases (MVDB).
- Good understanding of system architecture and integration concepts.
- Strong debugging troubleshooting and performance tuning abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in Agile or Waterfall project methodologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Good to Have
- Experience in modernization/migration projects from MultiValue platforms to relational databases or cloud.
- Familiarity with SQL databases and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
