Investment Governance Manager
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Investment Governance team at Mercer Investments. This role will be based in Sydney or Melbourne. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
We will count on you to:
- Lead and manage effective governance processes for Mercer Pacific Investments ensuring the highest standards of probity regulatory compliance and best practice.
- Administer compliance processes with legal and regulatory obligations maintaining charters policies and corporate records in line with ASIC APRA and other requirements.
- Oversee the coordination and delivery of Board and Investment Committee meetings including reporting workplans decisions and communications with stakeholders.
- Provide strategic governance advice and foster a culture of good corporate governance across Mercer Investments Pacific.
- Support investment committee strategy review evaluation and other governance programs as required.
What you need to have:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in company secretarial and governance duties.
- Strong knowledge of corporate governance legal compliance and company secretarial responsibilities.
- Experience with ASIC APRA and asset management regulatory frameworks is an advantage.
- Proven ability to prepare and guide high-quality minutes and papers for Board and Investment Committee meetings.
- Qualifications in law business governance commerce or related company secretarial studies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with professionalism and gravitas to advise senior leaders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities meet deadlines and work outside regular hours when required.
