As a QA Engineer youll be at the forefront of this mission helping us to build a scalable geo-location platform which helps keep people safe wherever they are in the world.
Track24 is looking for a skilled and adaptable QA Engineer to take ownership over our testing suite and practices as well as ensure that we are coding to the highest standard.
As a foundational hire youll be instrumental in shaping the QA discipline - introducing best practices building test automation frameworks and ensuring our systems are reliable scalable and robust before reaching our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans across multiple areas of the Track24 product suite
- Work with Engineering to forecast and plan quarterly test coverage
- Build and maintain automated test suites integrated into CI pipelines
- Lead the introduction of QA best practices across both legacy and greenfield systems
- Communicate QA risks and concerns effectively to the Head of Engineering and Technical Leads
- Help define and uphold quality standards providing technical feedback on performance and maintainability
- Ensure the Engineering teams "ways of working" are embedded in QA processes
- Stay informed on emerging testing tools and automation techniques
- Test critical system workloads edge cases and behaviours to ensure reliability and high availability
Requirements
- Proven experience with manual and automated testing in CI/CD pipelines
- Experience testing distributed service-oriented or event-driven architectures
- Skilled in writing automated tests for both legacy and greenfield projects
- Familiar with project management tools like Jira or Linear
- Strong technical foundation with a track record of assuring high-quality systems at scale
- Comfortable in high-stakes environments with strict uptime and availability standards
