| Job Description: | The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Florida is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible physician in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine to join the faculty at UF Health Shands Hospital for Children. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a vibrant and expanding academic center with a 24-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) that supports a fellowship program and offers extensive opportunities for teaching quality improvement and research activities. UF Health Shands Hospital for Children provides comprehensive care with full representation of all pediatric medical and surgical subspecialties including trauma burn and transplant services. The faculty member in this role will provide high-level clinical care in the PICU and actively participate in the education of medical students residents and fellows as well as engage in scholarly or quality-focused projects.
