The Workshop Service Engineer is responsible for executing of dismantle inspection cleaning
balancing assemble and etc. of service pumps at service non-mining workshop. This role ensures the
delivery of high-quality service in accordance with technical specifications and customer requirements. The engineer will also support continuous improvement initiatives and uphold health and safety standards. And coordinate with internal related to all services (technical and non-technical
Responsibility:
1. Pump Maintenance and Repair:
Perform detailed inspections troubleshooting and repairs of various types of pumps
(centrifugal submersible etc.).
Disassemble and reassemble pumps and rotating equipment for repair or reconditioning.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues ensuring that repairs meet OEM (Original
Equipment Manufacturer) standards.
2. Workshop Operations:
Operate workshop equipment including lathes milling machines and balancing machines as needed for pump repair and part fabrication.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings hydraulic schematics and technical manuals to
support repair activities.
Prepare and maintain accurate service records including failure reports maintenance logs and
parts usage.
3. Quality Assurance and Testing:
Conduct performance tests on repaired pumps and ensure they meet required specifications
before releasing to customers.
Coordinate with the quality control team to ensure that all repair and maintenance activities comply with quality standards.
4. Health Safety and Environment (HSE):
Adhere to HSE policies and procedures within the workshop to ensure a safe working
environment.
Participate in safety audits risk assessments and implement corrective actions as required.
5. Inventory and Resource Management:
Manage and monitor spare parts inventory tools and equipment used in the workshop.
Identify and report any discrepancies in inventory or tooling to ensure operational efficiency.
Ensure that all activities are carried out in line with the QHSE Policy and strategic objectives.
Ensure that all Hazards Risks Environmental aspects & impacts associated with work activities have been identified and implement action to eliminate or reduce it as low as possible.
To perform the tasks and responsibilities as given from superiors time to time.
Requirement:
Possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Having a minimum 1 year experience in related functions
Good communication skills analysis and reporting
A team player in a dynamic environment within a matrix organization
Having a positive attitude open-mindedness motivated and willingness to learn
Having pump technical know-how specifically mining pump products
Fluent in English both oral and written
Willing to travel all around Indonesia
