Job Summary

Job Summary:

Cultivates and solicits private financial support from individuals foundations corporations and by special programs.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintains a charitable giving program for the Athletics Department. Assists the Director of Development in establishing annual and long-range goals and objectives for generating private financial resources inclusive of individuals foundations corporations and other support.
  • Prepares and implements funding raising solicitation materials prospect lists and reports as appropriate.
  • Coordinates efforts of fund-raising volunteers as necessary.
  • Acknowledges receipt of gifts from donors and implements appropriate stewardship programs.
  • Makes direct calls to prospective contributors as necessary and appropriate.

Additional Position Information:

Education:

Requires a relevant Bachelors Degree.

Experience:

Preferred minimum 2 years experience fund raising or equivalent experience. Experience in higher education is preferred.
