Description

The Sr. Manager HRBP will be our Country Human Resource Leader for our Global Integrated Business Services site in Mandaluyong City Philippines. This role will support the Senior Director HRBP Asia in developing and implementing human resources strategy for the Manila Hub that aligns with regional and global priorities. The Sr. Manager HRBP will lead a small team of HRBPs to be trusted advisors and consultants to business leaders and the overall employee population in all areas of Human Resources including organizational development workforce planning change management complex employee relations reward and recognition talent management and employee engagement to achieve a high-performance culture.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Sr. Manager HRBP partners closely with hub leadership and HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to implement talent engagement and compliance programs while driving operational excellence and a positive employee experience with consistent alignment to the Vertivs strategic priorities and corporate behaviors. This role leads the team in maintaining harmonious employee relations ensuring compliance with labor laws handling disputes and involves fostering a positive and high-performing work environment while balancing the interests of employees and management.

  • Country HR Leadership:Act as a trusted advisor to Hub leadership and perform the role as the main local HR expert people-thought partner and coach to business leaders and employees to enhance employee engagement and drive a high performing culture. Develop/implement Hub-level HR initiatives and programs aligned with business objectives and global HR policies.
  • Team Leadership & Management:Lead and develop a high-performing HRBP team in the Manila Hub.
  • Talent & Workforce Management:Lead talent reviews succession planning and workforce planning processes for the Manila Hub. Partner with COEs to deliver integrated solutions in talent acquisition development compensation and benefits.
  • Employee Engagement & Culture: Drive initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and promote a cohesive high-performing culture.
  • Labor Relations & Compliance: Resolve conflicts and facilitate effective communication between employees and management. Manage complex employee relations cases conduct effective thorough and objective investigations and ensuretimely resolution. Ensure compliance with local labor laws and corporate policies and keep up to date with changes in labor laws and their implications for the organization.
  • HR Analytics & Insights: Leverage data and insights to develop interventions and initiatives for talent retention and employee engagement.
  • Continuous Improvement:Lead in identifying opportunities for improvement in HR policies procedures and processes.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 8 years of relevant experience in HR Business Partnership including multinational organizations and equipped with working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices organizational diagnosis employee relations talent management and strong comprehension of local employment laws.
  • Should have worked in a Global / MNC Organizational environment including HR leadership for an offshore globally supporting organization shared services site in the country. Worked in a matrixed organizational environment across multiple business units with an employee size of more than 1000 in the Philippines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with leaders employees and external stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience in handling legal disputes and arbitration.
  • Proven experience in leading a high performing and continuous improvement team.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
