Summary: The Electrical Engineer plays a key role in designing analyzing and testing electrical power equipment and systems. Accountabilities:- Prepare One-Line diagrams technical drawings and specifications for packaged backup electrical power systems ensuring installations meet quality standards and customer requirements.
- Develop designs for integrating electrical components such as generators breakers transformers control panels and distribution systems.
- Create load-balanced circuit diagrams and ensure proper documentation.
- Perform engineering analysis on electrical systems used in JTS products.
- Create and manage Bills of Material (BOMs).
- Evaluate electrical equipment for compliance with customer requirements industry standards government regulations and performance criteria.
- Ensure adherence to safety codes and regulations in all electrical designs and installations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams engineers departments and external partners to support successful project execution.
- Provide technical support during installation commissioning and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Investigate diagnose and resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.
- Research new technologies trends and methods to enhance product design and system performance.
- Assess long- and short-term implications of engineering decisions and alternative solutions.
- Understand manufacturing requirements and cost considerations when designing systems.
- Participate in the development of moderately complex project plans and support engineering activities for clients.
- Identify design or build issues develop solutions prepare documentation and ensure timely resolution.

- Ability to design load-balanced systems and document them accurately on One-Line diagrams.
- Knowledge of NEC NSC UBC IBC NFPA codes and related construction and safety regulations.
- Understanding of proper specification and integration of fire and life safety systems.
- Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD SolidWorks) and relevant programming languages or software tools.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license and UL508A certification preferred.
