DescriptionPosition Summary:The Product Owner will lead the Advanced Analytics team driving the development and delivery of data-driven solutions that support strategic business objectives across underwriting claims pricing and customer experience. This role acts as the bridge between business stakeholders and the analytics team ensuring that advanced analytics initiatives deliver measurable value to the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Lead mentor and manage a team of data scientists.
- Foster a culture of innovation collaboration and continuous improvement.
Product Ownership:
- Define and prioritize the analytics product backlog based on business value and strategic alignment.
- Develop and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap for advanced analytics initiatives.
- Own the end-to-end delivery of analytics products from ideation to deployment and monitoring.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with business units (Underwriting Claims Marketing etc.) to gather requirements and translate them into actionable analytics solutions.
- Present findings insights and recommendations to senior leadership and business partners.
Analytics Strategy & Execution:
- Identify opportunities to leverage advanced analytics (machine learning AI predictive modeling) to solve business problems.
- Oversee the design development and implementation of analytics models and tools.
- Ensure solutions are scalable robust and compliant with regulatory standards.
- Establish KPIs and success metrics for analytics initiatives.
- Monitor and report on product performance iterating based on feedback and results.
Qualifications- Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science Computer Science Statistics Mathematics or related field.
- 5 years of experience in analytics data science or related roles preferably in insurance or financial services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Expertise in advanced analytics techniques (machine learning AI predictive modeling).
