About the Role

Working in our Supported Independent Living (SIL) home in Kings Langley you will support people with disability to live as independently as possible. Whether they have complex needs or simply need a helping hand youll be part of a team that makes a real impact. Every day is different!

Were looking for people with availability to work across a fortnightly roster including mornings afternoons weekends and at least two overnight shifts per fortnight.

Key Responsibilities

• Support individuals with personal care daily routines and household tasks
• Assist with meal planning cooking and light cleaning
• Facilitate community connection through social outings and appointments
• Help individuals build life skills such as budgeting and social interaction
• Maintain strong relationships with families friends and support networks

What Youll Bring

• Experience in one-on-one and group support settings
• Strong communication teamwork and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including sleepovers (penalty rates apply)
• A current drivers licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) is advantageous
• Ability to support individuals with behaviours of concern using positive behaviour strategies

You will be required to undertake a Fit2Work National Criminal History Check and hold or be willing to obtain a WWCC and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
