The primary function of theNational SalesManagerAcutein Advanced Wound Careisto lead a teamof sales professionals that willdriveConvatec growth and profitabilitywithin the acute setting. Establishinga high performing team with a growth mind setanddeveloptheir talent for the future.


ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Sales & Commercial responsibility foracuteportfolio saleswithin theConvatecAWC franchise
  • Inspiring and motivating regional team to adopt a winning mindset and outperform the competition via higher levels of performance
  • Drive execution excellence by fully embedding theConvatec Way of Sellingsales process
  • Thorough annual and quarterly regionalbusiness planning
  • Driving strongutilizationofCRMwhilst exceeding call rate expectations
  • Support upskilling of team via active coaching min. 3 days per week
  • Develop andmaintaineffective cross-functional relationships and be an active contributor to the broader BU strategy
  • Manage annual regional budget
  • Capitalise on current Government and NHS priorities
  • Strong management of theacuteportfolio profitability drivingpriceoptimisation
  • Shape the external environment through engagements with key stakeholders andpurchasingbodiesleadand shape tender processes tooptimalsuccess foracuteportfolios

ABOUT YOU:

  • A mix of delivering against both thelong and short termbusiness goals
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to network both internally & externally
  • Excellentnegotiation skills
  • An understanding of the structure strategies and key priorities of the NHS and up-to-date NHS terminology
  • Experience of driving product access within the NHS (community or hospital) to drive demonstrablebusiness growth
  • Experience of working with a wide range of specialist and culturally diverse people influencing them to get things done.
  • Delivery of value-added business results even within tight deadlines.
  • Commercial acumenandfinancial accountabilitythrough managing budgets and resource planning
  • Excellent people management and talent development skills
  • Excellent communicator able toinspire a team to succeed
  • Demonstrating understanding of price and profitability in all negotiations to support Convatec UKI P&L
  • High standardsapproach delivering 100%salesperformance on a consistent basis with a proventrack record
  • Your ability to manipulate analyse and interpret data from a variety of sources and through effective decision-making planning and implementation delivering superior business results
  • Your appetite to lead projects and to set your own objectives
  • Good working IT knowledge (Microsoft software inc. Excel PPT &Word )& CRM experience.
