THE ROLE
The Proposal Manager Value Management will serve as the key link between sales value consultants engineering and customer stakeholders to ensure that all customer-facing proposals and unsolicited business cases clearly articulate the business value and ROI of Pure Storage solutions.
This role sits at the intersection of value selling and proposal excellence transforming technical and commercial inputs into compelling customer-centric narratives that drive strategic wins.
WHAT YOULL DO
- Lead the end-to-end management of typical Enterprise RFx and unsolicited proposals focused on articulating measurable business value.
- Collaborate with Account Executives (AEs) Systems Engineers (SEs) and the Value Management team to align customer outcomes metrics and key value levers in every submission.
- Craft executive summaries value propositions and cost-benefit narratives that demonstrate the economic impact and Cash flow benefits of Pure Storage.
- Ensure proposal responses are fully compliant differentiated and align with global best practices and governance standards.
- Partner with Value Consultants to convert discovery insights data models and customer priorities into persuasive financial and operational outcomes.
- Translate technical benefits into business impact statements using ROI TCO and KPI frameworks.
- Drive consistency in value messaging across proposals executive decks and customer briefings.
- Contribute to and maintain acentral library of high-impact value-based proposal content and case studies.
- Work with the Global Proposal and Value Management teams to align messaging with evolving industry and vertical trends.
- We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore you will be expected to work from the Bangalore office in compliance with Pures policies unless you are on PTO or work travel or other approved leave.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 812 years of experience in proposal management presales or value consulting within a technology or consulting organization.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale RFx responses and develop business value narratives for enterprise customers.
- Deep understanding of Value Selling Cash flow/ROI modeling and business case development.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to transform technical inputs into executive-level storytelling.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Sales SEs Finance and Value Management.
- Familiarity with proposal management tools automation systems and AI-driven content creation.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Technology or related field.
