Utilize excellent assessment and treatment skills in geriatrics neurology and orthopaedics with goal-oriented treatment plans and discharge management. Participate in promotional activities community education program development and Accreditation standards.
This position includes inpatient bundled care (hip knee and shoulder) assessments to support same-day discharges.

- Current Registration and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario required (with evidence of insurance coverage)
- Experience with total joint assessments is required
- Experience with post-surgical care is required
- Experience with inpatient medicine and surgery is an asset
- Experience working in an outpatient setting is an asset
- Ability to motivate be empathetic and client-centered in all interactions with patients
- Have a thorough understanding of confidentiality and patient dignity
- Initiative good problem solving and excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to interact effectively with an interprofessional team
- Must be flexible and show an ability to work independently and/or collaboratively with all team members
- Strong organizational abilities with efficient time management skills
- Satisfactory employment and attendance record required

Hours: Monday to Friday must be available for various shifts according to operational needs (i.e. 8:30-4:30 9:00-5:00 10:00- 6:00 11:00- 7:00)
Salary: $40.011 to $56.425 per hour
