Substation Electrical Engineer (with Revit)

Here is what you will do:

• Assist in the design and development of High Voltage Substations (up to 500kV) for a diverse stage of project.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Civil Structural engineers designers and project management ensuring project success.
• Perform modeling/CAD activities in Autocad Revit and Microstation based on rules provided by a senior engineer.
• Prepare technical drawings specifications and reports in accordance with project requirements and industry standards (IEC/IEEE/ANSI/AS).
• Good knowledge of MV and HV systems: Substation Equipment Fittings and Assemblies for HV conductors (Compression join bolted assemblies & bolted Tee Clamps / Dropper supports / Conductor Spacers & Earth Stirrups / Adaptor Plates / Earthing Termination / Fittings for Tubular busbars).
• Producing drawings for each stage of the project: Single Line Diagrams HV and MV Substations Equipment Layout & Sections Cable sizing Cable Routing and Sections Earthing and Lightning Layouts
• Stay updated on industry trends codes and regulations to ensure compliance and incorporate best practices into designs.
• Support senior engineers in project development.

Qualifications :

Heres what were looking for:

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical & Power Engineering;
• Minimum 2 years professional experience in T&D Substation design;
• Strong knowledge of Autocad 2D and 3D software;
• Good knowledge of Revit BIM360;
• Advanced English language skills.

Nice to have:

• Good knowledge of Bentley Microstation software;
• Advanced level in Revit;
• Knowledge of ETAP and 3D software is an advantage;
• Practical working experience with different international clients involvement in international projects dedicated to substations in Romania and abroad at different voltage levels (from 22kV up to 500kV);
• Good people and communication skills and ability to interact with project team members.
