We are looking for a Manual Tester to join our team responsible for developing a custom billing system. Your primary mission will be to ensure that all system functionalities - from data source integration through complex billing algorithms to invoice and report generation - work according to specifications are accurate and error-free.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and functional specifications provided by system analysts (including data mapping and billing rules).
- Create and maintain detailed test scenarios and test cases for new features and regression testing.
- Perform functional regression integration and acceptance tests (UAT support) for the billing system and front-end interface (Angular).
- Report track and verify bug fixes using tools such as Jira or similar.
- Validate data accuracy in the database using SQL queries to ensure billing processes (ETL) work correctly and source data is processed properly.
- Collaborate closely with analysts and developers (front-end and back-end) to quickly identify and resolve quality issues.
Qualifications :
Must-Have Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in testing web applications and IT systems.
- Strong practical knowledge of SQL - ability to write queries to verify data accuracy in databases (essential for billing systems).
- Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems (e.g. Jira Bugzilla).
Nice-to-Have
- Understanding of IT system architecture databases and ETL/data integration processes.
- Experience testing billing invoicing financial settlement (OSS/BSS) or CRM systems preferably in the telecom industry.
- Effective communication skills and ability to clearly describe identified issues and collaborate within a Scrum/Agile team.
