Shift: Monday-Friday 08:00am-16:00pm.
Salary: 45000 per annum.
Your job duties will include but not limited to the following;
- May from time to get involved with project work to get equipment back up to standard which would assist in helping production performance figures.
- Electrical fault-finding skills on Baggers Multi-Head Weighers and general packaging machinery would be an advantage.
- PLC fault Finding and programming issues
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on production equipment.
- Pat Testing
- Respond rapidly to machinery breakdowns diagnose the problems and perform repairs or report back to engineering team leader if external specialists are required.
- Adhere to health & safety guidelines and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Cable Management New Installations when required Services
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on production equipment.
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate will come from an electrical engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative be a time served engineer with electrical bias including 17th/18th edition and have Packaging machinery experience within a production environment. If you have worked on PLC systems it would be advantageous. Also able and willing to work on AC-DC Drives and Invertors process machinery gearboxes pumps and other manufacturing processes. There is training and career development on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
- Site services experience 240v 415v
- Qualifications to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent ONC) Electrical BTEC Level 3 in Electrical/Electronic engineering)
- PLC Knowledge Desirable but not essential
- 17th/18th Edition
- Strong Knowledge of Electrical systems used in FMCG industry.
- Mechanical Knowledge Desirable but not essential
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery including Baggers Multi-heads conveyors packaging equipment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to make decisions on the spot.
