At Toll Group we are proud to be expanding our Government and Defence portfolio through the Defence Theatre Logistics (DTL) contract.

Were looking for capable and experienced Storepersons to join our team ensuring Defence personnel receive the vital equipment supplies and materials they need when and where they need them.

How youll make the right impact

As a Storeperson youll bring advanced warehousing knowledge and proven skills to support site operations. Reporting to the Operations Manager and working closely with Team Leaders you will:

  • Oversee quality control standards across warehouse operations.

  • Perform warehousing and stores duties with minimal supervision.

  • Operate forklifts material handling equipment and Commonwealth vehicles (where licensed).

  • Use warehouse systems to manage complex reporting and stock control.

  • Lead and coordinate work for small teams (up to 10 staff).

  • Undertake specialist tasks including stocktake discrepancy investigations dangerous goods handling or armoury / secure cage operations (requiring additional security clearances and/or training qualifications).

  • Maintain safety compliance and efficiency across all warehouse activities.

What youll bring

Were looking for motivated individuals who bring:

  • Proven experience in warehousing logistics or related industries.

  • Advanced interpersonal communication and IT skills.

  • A current forklift licence (or willingness to obtain one).

  • A valid drivers licence (C class with MR/HR/HC/MC desirable).

  • Physical fitness for manual handling tasks.

  • Strong teamwork leadership and attention to detail.

  • A safety-first mindset with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Eligibility to make the grade

To apply for this role you must:

  • Be an Australian Citizen.

  • Be eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA Defence Security Clearance (Baseline level or higher depending on role NV1/NV2 required for certain tasks).

  • Be prepared to undertake pre-employment checks including criminal history medical and other background assessments.
