We are looking for a tech-savvy customer journey expert with strong digital delivery experience (app and/or web development). The digital tribe where you will be working is responsible for multiple aspects of the mobile app and web channel. Such as the technical foundation of the mobile app and web mobile customer identification and app enrolments (mobile) payments and self-service features. The various squads in our area develop and maintain mobile/web front- and backend applications in the ING Mobile Banking app for multiple ING general we are constantly aiming to exceed expectations of our millions of app and web users across Europe.
In this role you will join the squad responsible for the core payments functionality in our mobile app such as the product overview transaction details and prediction. This squad is part of the Everyday banking product where you and your colleagues together drive the evolution of product balances and transactions features in the app.
What will you do
- You understand the purpose and the Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) of the Tribe and help to establish them
- You translate the purpose the why your business & product knowledge to your squad and work with your squad daily to realize the sprint ambitions
- You help your squad to improve on predictability output quality and optimize the velocity
- You closely collaborate with other Customer Journey Experts and Product Leads in your area translating the voice of the customer business and IT needs into requirements
- You apply your experience in supporting to build and manage the products with a customer centric focus and an end-to-end mindset
- You ensure our license to operate as a bank by secure and flawless 24/7 operations whilst keeping strong focus on regulatory compliance

Skills we are looking for
- Frontend Development Knowledge : Familiarity with web and mobile app interfaces (iOS and Android).
- Global App Landscape Awareness : Understanding of international mobile banking trends compliance and user expectations.
- Digital Strategy & Competitive Positioning : Ability to craft and execute strategies targeting Youth/Gen Z segments.
- Behavioral Design & Engagement : Knowledge of behavioral nudges gamification and digital triggers to drive user engagement.
- Data Analysis & Experimentation : Proficiency in interpreting analytics dashboards A/B testing and basic statistical concepts.
- Release Management : Understanding of mobile app release cycles app store submission processes and version control.
- Quality Assurance & Change Verification : Ability to test validate and approve feature changes before production release.
- Cross-functional Collaboration : Strong communication skills to work with developers designers compliance and marketing teams.
- User-Centric Mindset : Deep empathy for user needs and ability to translate insights into actionable features.
- Regulatory & Security Awareness : Basic understanding of financial regulations data privacy and security standards for mobile banking.
