Manage maintain and develop an efficient Technical Unit according to site objectives. Coordinate the reporting structure and cultivate profitable client relationships. Support unit optimization and high efficiency. Ensure projects are implemented with relevant teams. Guide the Unit to meet goals in Safety Quality Delivery Cost People development Customer happiness and Projects adhering to regulations.
Environment Health and Safety
Ensure adherence to security standards for the assigned function aligning with current regulations and company policies.
Quality
Maintain corporate quality standards by approving procedures for your areas of responsibility. Coordinate staff to supervise procedure implementation and complete validations as planned while following company policies and procedures.
Delivery
Scheduling
Ensure overall readiness for production activities and adherence to the short-term production and maintenance schedule. Identify improvements for medium- and long-term scheduling.
Production
Ensure the production of drugs as requested by the client through the mentorship coordination and control of the reporting structure. Participate in Technology Transfer meetings to understand the manufacturing processes requested by the client. Approve instructions related to manufacturing operations and support in case of anomalies with respect to production standards. Verify the trends with respect to the budget conduct gap analysis and define corrective actions all in respect of budget client needs GMPs procedures and company quality standards.
TPM & Continuous Improvement
Facilitate the use of TPM principles to improve the reliability and efficiency of equipment. Identify improvement actions and preventive measures to secure efficient output from the department respecting the needs of the customer GMP procedures and company quality standards.
Promote continuous advancement of the Technical Unit through recommendations related to the manufacturing plant layout plant flexibility GMP adjustments and cost optimization adhering to the assigned budget GMP company interests procedures and quality standards.
Maintenance
Guarantee the implementation of maintenance activities for the technical unit. Manage and monitor the reporting structure in assessing the efficiency of production departments and equipment. Establish actions to address production problems (plant breakdown) following quality standards and quantitative production requirements.
Cost
Technical Unit Budget & Cost Control
Ensure the proposal and definition of the budget regarding fixed costs variable costs and investments. Identify and encourage cost efficiency assessment and improvement for the Technical Unit.
Definition of Expenses Associated with New Agreements
Work closely with Technology Transfer to identify and improve costs connected to new contracts. Join efforts to evaluate how new production orders affect operations and the risks tied to acquiring new contracts following company goals and the Technical Business Managers guidance.
Customer Happiness
Ensure customer happiness through the reporting structure and collaboration with the technical business. Maintain confidentiality of customers production processes.
Technical Training
Direct and coordinate department heads to guarantee the technical training of the employee production structure. They will determine needs and propose fitting actions that respect the budget.
Management of Reporting Structure
Coordinate and control the employee structure by defining objectives exploiting results analyzing training needs and encouraging development to ensure dedication and motivation.
