ASSISTANT FITNESS MANAGER

Who is an Assistant Fitness Manager

The Assistant Fitness Manager is responsible for the sales and service of new Members. They must assist the Fitness Manager in maintaining a high standard of professionalism results-based programming and profitability in the Personal Training Department. This role is designed to develop Assistant Fitness Managers into Fitness Managers within one year.


What will you be doing

  • Achieving monthly premium and secondary product sales targets and close rates
  • Ensuring all new members are inducted to Personal Training offerings in the club
  • Leading their assigned Personal Trainers through coaching and development to achieve Club Key Performance Indicators
  • Participating or leading development activities trainings and meetings to grow their skills
  • Completing Personal Training administration
  • Building and maintaining your own client list
  • Training your clients so they achieve their health and fitness goals
  • Working closely with all departments in the club to enhance overall club culture


Do you have what it takes

  • Must have current nationally recognized Personal Training certification
  • Minimum 1 year Personal Training experience
  • Proven success in leading training and motivating diverse teams to achieve performance goals
  • Success in achieving individual and team service and sales goals
  • Skilled in customer service building great relationships and influencing others
  • Passion for helping others and a commitment to personal health and fitness
  • Committed to contributing to a culture that celebrates diversity equity & inclusion and values giving back to communities
