Job Summary
Job Role - Cloud Engineer
Job Location: Doha Qatar - Onsite OR FULLY REMOTE
Experience Range - 3-8 years
Indian resources also fine - Day 1 Onsite to Qatar
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to design implement and manage cloud based infrastructure CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation. The role involves working closely with development operations and security teams to ensure scalable secure and reliable solutions across cloud and on-prem environments.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Management o Design deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure (Azure & GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform Bicep).
o Manage Kubernetes (AKSGKE or OpenShift) clusters and containerized workloads.
o Implement monitoring logging and alerting solutions (e.g. Datadog Grafana Prometheus ELK).
CI/CD Automation o Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
o Automate build test and deployment processes for microservices and monolithic applications.
o Implement automated testing and release management strategies.
Security & Compliance
o Integrate security best practices into pipelines (DevSecOps) including secrets management (Azure Key Vault HashiCorp Vault).
o Ensure infrastructure complies with enterprise security and regulatory standards.
Operations & Reliability o Manage cloud cost optimization and performance tuning.
o Support high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions.
o Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues across multiple environments.
Collaboration & Documentation o Work with developers architects and IT teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. o Document system configurations processes and standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
3-6 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer (in Azure and Google Cloud).
Proficiency with Azure & GCP. (Azure preferred)
Strong skills in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
Hands-on experience with Docker Kubernetes and Helm.
Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps GitLab CI/CD).
Familiarity with monitoring logging and observability stacks.
Strong scripting skills (Bash PowerShell Python).
Understanding of networking load balancing and security principles.
