Job Summary
Job Title: RN Med/Surg Tele
Location: Pikeville KY 41501 (Must reside 75 miles from Pikeville KY)
Job Type: 13 weeks travel contract
Shift details: Days & Nights both 3/12hrs 36 or 48hrs /week
Job Summary:
RN Med/Surg Tele will Provide professional nursing care to assigned patients utilizing the nursing process within established standards and practices for assigned patients.
Duties:
Provide comprehensive patient care including assessments documentation education and involvement of patients/families in care planning.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams advocate for patients and address cultural psychosocial and age-specific needs.
Supervise and support staff serve as a preceptor and assist with procedures equipment operation and maintaining a safe efficient work environment.
Participate in performance improvement maintain professional development follow all policies and perform additional tasks such as housekeeping or patient transport as needed.
Skills & Education:
Minimum 2 years of experience in Med/Surg Tele unit - Required.
Associates degree in nursing required. Bachelors degree in nursing preferred.
Licenses & Certifications:
Active RN License - Required
BLS/ CPR Certification - Required
ACLS - Required
NIHSS - Required
EKG - Required
