Troubleshooting hydraulic systems (cylinders valves power packs hoses accumulators)
Pump maintenance (centrifugal and positive displacement)
Slide Gate mechanism maintenance (steel plant operations)
Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
Installation and commissioning of mechanical equipment
Documentation and record-keeping
Health Safety & Environment (HSE) compliance
Risk assessment and Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Permit-to-Work systems
Supervision and training of technicians

Qualifications

We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong theoretical foundation combined with extensive practical experience in maintaining critical plant machinery. Your ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues particularly within hydraulic systems and specialized steel plant equipment will be crucial for success. A proactive approach to safety and a commitment to continuous improvement are highly valued.

Bachelor s / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Practical experience in hydraulics pumps and slide gate system maintenance is mandatory.
Certification in hydraulics / reliability engineering / TPM is preferred.

Education

Bachelor s / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
