Job Summary

Infrastructure Management - Design implement and maintain highly available and scalable AWS infrastructure using services such as EC2 S3 RDS Lambda and VPC.

Automation and Orchestration- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins GitLab CI AWS CodePipeline and CloudFormation/Terraform for infrastructure as code.

Monitoring and Logging - Set up and manage monitoring logging and alerting systems using AWS CloudWatch ELK Stack Prometheus Grafana or similar tools to ensure system reliability and performance.

Security and Compliance - Implement best practices for security and compliance including identity and access management (IAM) encryption and network security to protect data and applications.

Performance Optimization - Continuously monitor and optimize system performance capacity and cost making recommendations for improvements and scaling as needed.

Collaboration - Work closely with development operations and other teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software applications and infrastructure.

Documentation - Maintain detailed documentation of system architecture processes and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance.

Skills -

Proficiency in Terraform scripting.

Experience with multi-cloud environments particularly AWS and Google Cloud.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell.

Strong understanding of networking concepts including VPC VPN DNS load balancing and firewalls.

Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins GitLab CI AWS CodePipeline or similar.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible Chef or Puppet.

Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps best practices.

Certifications AWS/GCP Certified DevOps Engineer Professional AWS/GCP Certified Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.
