We are looking for a finance professional to support budget setting monitoring and forecasting ensuringaccuratemanagement accounts and compliance with all financial regulations. You will work closely with Finance Business Partners and budget holders to deliver trusted financial insightsidentifyrisks and opportunities and drive value for money across the organisation. The role also involves supporting statutory accountsmaintainingfinancial systems and contributing to strategic priorities to keep the business financially strong and well-governed.

In addition we are looking for candidates that have apassion to advocate on behalf of people and communities.

WhatdoourAssistant Finance Business Partnersdo;

  • Support financial performance management including annual budget preparationaccuratemanagement accounts and forecasting to highlight risks and opportunities.

  • Delivertimelyfinancial reporting producing reconciliationsmaintainingbudgets and forecasts in systems and supporting statutory accounts and audits.

  • Provide value-added finance business partnering offering tailored reports analysis and insights to enable informed decision-making and robust risk management.

  • Ensure data integrity and compliancemaintainingaccuratetransaction codingvalidatingdata quality and adhering to financial regulations and internal controls.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement supporting audits risk management and operational plans to enhance efficiency and embed value for money across the organisation.

Whatwe are looking for;

  • Part-qualified Accountant or qualified AAT or equivalent through relevant training / experience

  • Experience of working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams

  • Ability to plan prioritise and organise effectively to meet changing needs

  • Experience of providingappropriate financialinformation

  • Ability to analyse complex data to produce reports and deliver information to a range of audiences

  • Strong IT skills including use of Excel knowledge and use of finance and housing management systems
