We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development (BD) Professional with extensive experience in engineering consulting to join our team in Bengaluru Karnataka. This full-time position requires a committed individual who can identify and pursue new business opportunities in sectors such as infrastructure and water management. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background as well as business acumen to drive the growth and success of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Identify evaluate and pursue new business opportunities in infrastructure water and amp; wastewater management urban development and allied engineering consultancy sectors.
- Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with company goals.
- Track government initiatives (e.g. SBM 2.0 AMRUT NGT Jal Jeevan Mission Smart Cities) for potential project opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government departments local urban bodies and private sector clients.
- Represent the company in client meetings technical discussions and high-level forums.
- Act as the key point of contact for business negotiations and partnership building.
- Lead the preparation of EOIs RFPs DPR-related proposals tenders and PPP projects.
- Coordinate with technical financial and legal teams for successful bid submissions.
- Ensure compliance with tendering norms and monitor competition within the industry.
- Guide and mentor junior business development and proposal teams.
- Promote knowledge transfer of best practices in business development and client management.
Requirements
- B.E Masters in Civil/Mechanical/Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
- 14-15 years of experience in business development within the infrastructure/consultancy sectors.
- Strong technical knowledge in engineering particularly in the infrastructure sector.
- Proven track record in bidding and procurement processes.
- Sound knowledge of government contracting processes.
- Exceptional communication client management and presentation skills.
- A demonstrated ability to coordinate with various functional teams efficiently.
