Job Summary
Community Resource Network of Floridais looking fora caregiverwho is fun compassionate dependable andis committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their bestlife. We are looking for dedicated direct careprofessionalswho want to makea difference in the lives of the people we serve.
The individual is a young male in need of a caregiver to provide personal support. Must be compassionate and outgoingwho will take him out to socialize and to community outings.
This is an independent contract position and pays $15.25 an hour.
Schedule: 12 hours per week flexible schedule morning or early afternoon preferred.
You will be a good fitfor thisposition if you :

- Demonstrate patience and compassion
Responsibilities and Duties you can expect in the role:
- Encouraging and supporting the individualduring homeactivities
- Meal/snack preparation
- Ensuringindividualssafety and maintaining a safe living environment
- Performing light housekeeping tasks
- Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events community outings such as grocery shopping and appointments
- Promote communication choiceindependence and socialization
- Complete daily progress notes and EVV Data
Qualifications and Skills
- Valid drivers license
- Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening
- Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
- Have a High School diploma or equivalent
- Are 18 years of age or older
