DriverTrainee

Location: 1450 Holland Rd. Maumee OH

Are you trying to break into the transportation industry Picture yourself as a drivertraineewith Gordon Food Service! Learn to drive a truckand get your CDL A licenseas youwork alongside drivers to build relationships with customers.Youll learn to deliverfood products essential to restaurants schools hospitals universities and more. Youll be required to unload cases up to 100 lbsand usea ramp and two-wheeler throughout your shift.Youll need a CDL A permit to get started and youll be supported by ateam that offers respect expertise and professional development!

Schedule: Monday-Friday. Start time 3 AM-6 AM until route finish

Pay: $2601/ hour

Does this look like you

At least 21 years of age
CDL A Permit required
Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds
Must be able to read write and communicate in English (to read labels pick lists scanners signage company website information related to benefits updates complete paperwork and follow verbal instructions)
Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check
You must be registered through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent in order to be considered for employment with us effective January 6th 2020. If you have not registered through the Clearinghouse click here to register
