Position Summary

Responsible for ensuring timely completion and oversight of accounting functions and assisting operations in exceeding the expectations of our clients. Supports business unit leaders with Analysis Budgeting and Forecasting information to allow their business units to focus on profit generating activities.

Role Responsibilities

Assist Controller/CFO in providing timely and accurate financial reports.
Monthly review of financial statements.
Budget Variance analysis for various types of budgets.
Ownership of subcontracts driving process improvement with respect to insurance compliance payments and budget reviews.
Review and provide alternative approaches to the allocation of indirect costs.
Maintain and perform analysis on key performance indicators.
Assist with preparation of financial models such as:

Scenario planning
Capital budgeting
Financial statement analysis
Cash flow analysis

Support and training of staff.
Oversight of other accountants duties where deemed necessary.

Qualifications

Indirect supervision.
Requires the use of advanced techniques and knowledge within his/her function.
Applies diversified knowledge of applicable principles and practices to a broad variety of assignments.
Makes decisions independently regarding complexities and methods.
Supervision and guidance related largely to overall objectives critical issues new concepts and policy matters.
Liaison to groups within and outside of his/her organization with responsibility to act independently regarding matters pertaining to his/her function.
College/University graduate with a Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a similar field and 8 years relevant experience or equivalent combination of skills and experience generally expected for specified technical roles.
