Job Summary

Main Responsibilities:

To be an expert in technical aspects of Audio-visual installation and operation in CT Ireland
To help design and draw system layouts/configurations for tenders and projects including mechanical and electrical drawings.
To provide technical expertise to the Sales Representatives when scoping a project.
To help source hardware solutions to meet project designs.
To provide cabling schedules cable labeling IP network tables.
To work with Project Management Office Install Engineers Commissioning Engineers Pre and Post Sales Tech when clarifications or design updates are required.
To support the Technical Director in all design aspects and to backup during times of leave
Attend site visits when required to gather more information for the design or help Sales Representatives explain technical aspects of the designs.

Quality Management System Responsibilities

Comply with Companys Quality Management System requirements i.e. perform your work according to your process documents procedures and maintaining document information/completing department forms/records as required.
Understand and apply our quality policy statements in all aspects of your work.
Contribute towards achieving company objectives

Ensure that the needs and requirements of companys internal staff and customers are understood and delivered.
Help develop and improve the companys internal processes and management system by reporting corrective actions updates and improvement ideas.

Education:

Electronic Engineering 3^rd level qualification
Electrical Engineering 3^rd level qualification
Mechanical Engineering 3^rd level qualification
AVIXA (CTS-D CTS-I)

Licenses/Certificates:

Safe Pass
Manual handling
Autocad/Stardraw
Manufacturer certificates
Basic programming/configuration of control systems

Experience:

AV system design
AV system installation
IT Networking
IT Infrastructure
AV control system design and configuration
AV rack building experience
