About the role

We are looking for Inspectors Fixed Plant to play a lead role in being the teams Subject Matter Expert in fixed plant maintenance.
This is a great opportunity for trade qualified Mechanical Fitters or Boilermakers to join our teams across various Pilbara mine sites.

What youll bring
A Mechanical Fitter or Boilermaker Trade qualification
A Manual C Class Australian Drivers Licence essential
Current experience in an Iron Ore process plant
Excellent diagnostic fault-finding abilities
Extensive knowledge of high-pressure pumps industrial drive gearboxes and crushers
Solid understanding of SAP maintenance systems or similar highly regarded
Reporting to the Senior Engineer and working in a collaborative community a challenging and exciting environment within the Fixed Plant department you will be responsible for:
Conduct routine inspections of fixed plant equipment and determine repair action when required
Work closely with maintenance engineering and shut down team to prioritise work in the shut base on inspection and plant health
Inspecting work fronts to ensure that all work is completed to a high quality.
Maintain a high level of safety awareness and comply with all RTIO Company Policies and procedures
Identify prioritise and execute defect elimination equipment improvement projects
Actively contribute to continuous improvement projects increasing safety whilst reducing risk & cost
Utilise SAP to ensure that maintenance tasks are recorded assigned correctly and completed to the relevant standard / specification
