Role description:
Arcadis seeks an engineering Senior Roadway CAD Designer to join our Ohio Mobility team based in Akron OH.
In this position you will utilize your wealth of experience with detailed CAD modeling for various DOT and local projects mainly in on a wide variety of urban and rural projects from concept development schematic development through final roadway plans and on right of way plans.
Role accountabilities:
- Develop roadway or right of way plans utilizing Microstation/ORD or AutoCAD/Civil 3D according to ODOT or local guidelines and standards.
- Perform transportation design and right of way work relating to roadway design. Includes plan preparation drafting and quantity calculations.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microstation/ORD and AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
- Demonstrate proficiency in developing Right of Way Plans and Utility Coordination.
Qualifications & Experience:
Required Qualifications:
- 10 or more years of relevant work experience
- Associates Degree or equivalent years (15) of work experience in appropriate area of design
- Proficient with CAD particularly Microstation and AutoCAD;
- Strong Office (Word Excel) skills.
- Familiarity with ODOT design standards specifications and policies.
- Familiarity with local utility companies and needed coordination.

- Be a self-motivated team-oriented and flexible individual who possesses the initiative and ability to tackle new projects and challenges.
- Must have the ability to work on multiple unique assignments simultaneously.
- Willing to work both remote and in-office as needed.

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per salary range for this position is $80461 - $132761 Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors such as experience education budget internal equity project and location.
