The Software Development Engineer is responsible for ensuring consistent development aligned with departmental requirements delivering high-quality working software that exceeds customer expectations. The role engages in feature-driven development within an agile framework actively participating in sprint planning daily stand-up meetings sprint reviews retrospectives and backlog refinement sessions fostering team collaboration and alignment. The role contributes to the continuous improvement of the team software and processes actively engaging in designing coding documenting testing (automated) maintaining and deploying software efficiently driving innovation and productivity. The role supports DevOps in software deployment setting monitoring and ensuring own performance metrics are achieved facilitating smooth and efficient deployment processes.
Job Responsibilities:
Participates in full software development processes using C on windows platform (Preferably in MFC) demonstrating some degree of autonomy and collaborating effectively with other team members to ensure project success.
Ensures regular development according to departmental requirements delivering high-quality working software that meets customer expectations with excellence.
Engages in features-driven development within an agile approach actively participating in sprint planning daily stand-up meetings sprint reviews sprint retrospectives and backlog refinement sessions fostering team collaboration and alignment.
Contributes to continuous improvement of the team software and processes actively designing coding documenting testing (automated) maintaining and deploying software efficiently driving innovation and efficiency.
Supports DevOps in deploying software setting monitoring and ensuring own performance metrics are met facilitating smooth and efficient deployment processes.
Writes clean sustainable and efficient code under the guidance of senior engineers following coding standards and best practices contributing to high-quality software.
Develops and executes unit tests to ensure the functionality and reliability of the code identifying and fixing bugs during the development process ensuring robust software performance.
Troubleshoots and debugs moderately complex software issues using diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and resolve problems efficiently maintaining smooth and effective software operation.
Improves technical skills by staying updated with the latest industry trends technologies and best practices through research and training ensuring ongoing professional development and innovation.
Utilizes version control systems to manage code changes track progress and collaborate effectively with other team members ensuring efficient and coordinated development processes.
Minimum required Education:
High School Diploma Vocational Education/ Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Technology or equivalent.
Minimum required Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience with Vocational Education in Software Development Software Design and Architecture Testing and Quality Assurance or equivalent OR no prior experience with Bachelors Degree.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the companys facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the companys main facilities generally at the customers or suppliers locations.
