Job Summary
Responsibilities: ensure that all direct reports are on duty to perform the linen duties; complete supervisory tasks such as manage staff attendance records review and approval of timecards order supplies for housekeeping and floor suppliers train staff on floor care stripping and waxing and other duties deemed necessary.
Required Tasks
- Supervise staff in their linen duties and floor delivery schedules.
- Manage staff attendance records review and approve timecards.
- Request supplies for linen staff.
- Train staff on linen procedures.
- Manage staffing shortages to ensure task completion.
- Make recommendations to approve daily linen exchange.
- Map out staffing scheduling needs.
- Daily contact with officer to confirm head counts prior to linen delivery.
- Perform other duties deemed necessary.
Education and Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. AND
- Four (4) years of experience working in housekeeping and laundry AND
- Two (2) years of supervisory experience.
