Position Summary
The Pharmacist provides health education and care within their scope of practice for clients of Mount Carmel Clinic. As a member of a client-centered interdisciplinary team the Pharmacist provides care to individuals promoting wellness prevention of disease and/or disability and the management of chronic diseases/conditions. The incumbent works as an advocate on behalf of the client to ensure the appropriate links/referrals to other services that would enable the client to achieve their health goals. The Pharmacist holds ultimate responsibility for the actions of the Pharmacy.
Qualifications
Education
Holds a Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy
Registered and Licensed as a Pharmacist with the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba
Skills Expertise and Experience
Minimum three (3) years direct service in a high volume pharmacy with good knowledge of pharmacy software programs
