Master Scheduler Injection Molding
Summary:
Responsible for creating and managing the Master Production Schedule for injection molding operations. Ensures optimal use of machines labor and materials while meeting customer delivery requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain the production schedule for all molding machines and secondary operations.
- Sequence jobs to maximize machine utilization and minimize changeovers.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure resin tooling and materials are available.
- Monitor capacity adjust schedules and communicate changes to production and customer service.
- Maintain accurate data in ERP/MRP systems and track schedule adherence.
- Support new product launches tooling changes and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications:
- 35 years scheduling or planning experience in injection molding or plastics manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of molding processes cycle times and tooling.
- ERP/MRP system experience.
- Strong communication analytical and problem-solving skills.
- APICS and CPIM certification preferred.
