Job Summary

Clinical Nurse Critical Care Services Buderim Hospital

  • Employment Term: Permanent Part Time Opportunity (minimum 0.7 FTE)

  • Location: Buderim Private Hospital Sunshine Coast QLD

  • Remuneration: $55.63 - $59.61 p/hr Super NFP Salary Packaging (save tax and increase your take home pay)

Your part in our Buderim Hospital team

As an experienced nurse you will present with well-developed communication and customer service skills with a passion for delivering person-centred care through a strong alignment to our values. Youll be adept at managing conflicting priorities whilst remaining patient-focused under time pressures.

As a Clinical Nurse in this department you will

  • Provide Exceptional customer service skills focused on exceeding patient expectations.

  • Commit to achieving optimal patient outcomes through the use of effective clinical knowledge and professional standards of practice

  • Apply clinical practice that ensures and promotes a safe environment for optimal patient health

  • Effectively and accurately exchange retrieve and manage information relevant to your role

  • Exercise authority through appropriate decision making

  • Apply sound knowledge of principles of clinical and workplace risk management including incident management

What makes a difference for us

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Critical Care/ICU

  • Cardiac Experience highly desirable

  • Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent and AHPRA registration

  • Demonstrated ability to provide leadership support and mentorship

  • An ability to coordinate and prioritise your wards clinical load

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and quality improvements

  • A keen interest in leadership

  • Ability to work 24/7 rotating roster

  • Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements as well as undergo national criminal history check and functional assessment
