Community Solutions has a new opportunity due to business growth for a junior machinist apprentice; hosted with a small manufacturing business on the Sunshine Coast with strong community engagement who brings ideas to life through product development technology & innovation! Services include Mechanical Design (CAD) 3D Printing Lazer Cutting Product Development & Project Management CNC Programming CNC Machining Welding & Fabrication.

Requirements:

Must have a passion for manufacturing/machining/engineering
able to work full time Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
A Certificate II in Engineering (Highly Regarded)
Understand the importance of workplace health and safety
Have good communication skill
Enjoy practical work
Have good hand-eye coordination
Construction White Card or willing to obtain

Community Solutionsis a non-for-profit organisation operating as a commercial business providing apprentices and trainees to a variety of different businesses throughout the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane. We provide apprentices and trainees important career guidance and opportunity to earn while they learn. Dedicated Field Officers are assigned to apprentices and trainees to provide ongoing support to completing their chosen trade qualification.
