Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the local team encouraging the development of high-performance staff and driving engagement and inclusiveness.
  • Be an active participant in the daily activities to ensure the daily workload is completed.
  • Manage the warehouse inventory and overall operations with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain a cycle-counting plan throughout the year to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Coordinate the stock scrapping procedure ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Manage the shipping schedule prioritizing daily tasks to meet customer demands.
  • Regularly review and optimize packaging methods for shipping.
  • Coordinate with the purchasing team to ensure timely ordering of warehouse and shipping consumables.
  • Identify improvement opportunities within processes and plan successful implementation steps.
  • Ensure all warehouse activities are detailed within Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions.
  • Serve as the primary contact for warehouse-related issues and represent the warehouse during internal and external audits.
  • Collaborate closely with the export coordinator department for courier-related operations.
  • Cross-train team members to improve operational flexibility and resource availability.
  • Maintain data integrity within ERP systems including shipping conditions packaging and expiration dates on products.
  • Develop and manage local policies and practices for warehouse management in collaboration with site management and compliance with local regulations.
  • Establish and manage important metrics in the warehouse to monitor and enhance performance.

Qualifications :

Experience Required

  • Proven experience in logistics particularly within warehouse goods-in and shipping operations.
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory background showcasing the ability to guide and grow a team.
  • Ability to work effectively both in a team environment and independently.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Flexibility with working hours to meet operational needs.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills.

Experience Desired

  • Knowledge of IFS ERP systems.
  • Experience with warehouse machinery and equipment.
  • Understanding of import and export shipping documentation.
  • Familiarity with Lean Techniques and Tools.
  • Broader supply chain knowledge to support overall operations.
