Job Summary
We are searching for creative enthusiastic self-motivated individuals with a strong work ethic who consistently strive for perfection.
Starting Rate: $27.03 per hour
We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $30.39.
Job Duties Include:
- Consistently offers professional engaging and friendly service
- Follow departmental policies procedures and service standards
- Mending alternations and hand sewing
- Assist in all duties of the uniform room
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies
- Other duties as assigned
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
- Frequent sitting throughout shift
- Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders stairs and ramps
- Bending / Reaching
- Pushing and pulling
Qualifications :
Your Skills & Experience:
- Excellent understanding of industrial serges & sewing machine is an asset
- Mending and hand sewing knowledge is required
- Knowledge of preplacing zippers fabric buttons and linings
- Must be able to take accurate measurements for all uniforms and business attire fittings
- Must be comfortable to perform alterations with various fabrics
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast- paced environment
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs reaming calm and courteous at all times.
- Familiar with Microsoft
