Job Summary

The Department of Imaging Sciences at the University of Rochester in Rochester NY is actively seeking an ABR certified/eligible neuroradiologist for a full-time faculty position. CAQ qualified/eligible is required. Recognized as a world leader in radiological testing education and research the Department of Imaging Sciences at the university of Rochester is at the forefront of diagnostic and therapeutic imaging technologies and is equipped with state-of-the-art IT and capture equipment. The selected candidate should possess expertise in all areas of neuroradiology and have completed a fellowship. The University has the regions only Liver and Heart transplantation programs. We are also the regional leader in Interventional Oncology.

The Department of Imaging Sciences at the University of Rochester is a practice of approximately 90 radiologists and 25-30 residents and fellows. Technical highlights include state of the art information technology 3T MRI a clinical PET/MRI Dual Energy CT and digital PET/CT. The departments PACS system is integrated into a comprehensive electronic clinical information system. Annual study volumes are approachingacross several imaging locations throughout the region. Multiple academic activity tracks allow promotion through scholarly education or clinical activity.
