Where we work
Owner is a remote-first global company headquartered in San Francisco with a sales hub in Toronto. For a few of our roles we prioritize in-person collaboration at one of our office locations. Were looking for a craft-oriented details-obsessed product manager to help deliver on this vision.
In this role youll partner closely with our talented design and engineering teams to build an exceptional guest-facing online ordering experience that delivers meaningful revenue growth for all of Owners restaurant customers.
While Owner is a remote-first company for this role we are prioritizing SF Bay Area candidates who can work out of our lovely office in the Presidio at least twice a week.
The impact you will have
- Develop the roadmap for guest-facing ordering balancing growth initiatives experience improvements and big strategic bets
- Drive more guests to order directly from Owner customers by making the experience fast clear and easy
- Use AI to optimize customers menu presentation at scale across tens of thousands of restaurant menus
- Elevate usability accessibility and product delight across every interaction
- Help become the most loved brand in restaurant software
Who youll work with
- Youll partner deeply with Design and Engineering to build polished intuitive experiences that deliver value to our restaurant customers and their guests
- Youll collaborate with Data/BizOps to identify and size opportunities define KPIs and understand impact
- Youll work with our customer-facing Launch Customer Success and Support teams to ensure we have the right inputs to create the high-performing guest experiences for each customer restaurant
- Youll work with our go-to-market teams to ensure that customers and prospects understand the value delivered by Owners guest-facing experiences
What were looking for
- 5 years of product management experience
- Ability to get things done: you have a track record of shipping software that made a difference for your customers
- Excellent product sense: you have a good understanding of what makes for a high-quality product and are opinionated about what solutions will be successful
- Deep customer empathy: you care about helping your customers and are skilled at performing research to uncover their true needs
- Strong data fluency: you effectively gather and integrate quantitative and qualitative data to inform your decision-making and update your intuition
- Proficiency handling ambiguity: you make sure your goals are clearly defined and display significant independence in achieving them
- Clear written and verbal communication: youre a force for clarity and alignment ensuring everyones on the same page
- Competence with technical complexity: you can understand the high-level architecture of a product and its implications for the customer experience and youre comfortable talking with engineers about project scope and tradeoffs
Pay and benefits
- The estimated starting base salary range for this role is $190-230K plus a generous pre-IPO equity package
