About the role
Were seeking a hands-on individual to join our team as a Process Manager in our Recycling Division. You will be working within the Commercial function to implement the sourcing and sales strategies as well as manage the key processes to ensure customer satisfaction and operational levels whilst delivering value for DS Smith.
Your responsibilities will include creating managing and reviewing the Kemsley Mill Production needs data to determine fibre supply requirements. You will be key in owning the Fibre SteerCo agenda and discussion pack for the meetings between UK Recycling and Kemsley Mill. As the key point of contact for our other DSS Recycling entities you will support initial queries to understand fibre needs and manage the process of supply.
Working with other Commercial colleagues you will be able to driver the opportunity pipeline reviewing the account plan process to ensure you are creating governance and regularity overall. You will also oversee and manage the Recyclability Evaluation Service process from ensuring drive and activity is maximized.
About you
- Proven experience in a similar role ideally within a related industry
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels including senior management with both internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent presentation skills
- A continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to interpret data and draw conclusions and proposals
- Strong IT skills with high competency required for most Microsoft Office applications but especially Excel
- An ability to work to and meet set deadlines both customer-defined and internal
Location: Home based with travel to sites in Caerphilly with additional travel as required.
Note: This role is part of the recycling reorganisation proposal and will be advertised internally for the relevant recycling employees.
