CSBio is a leading biotech company in the peptide industry and for over 30 years has been providing pharmaceutical instrumentation to biotech pharmaceutical and academic researchers.
We are looking for a highly motivated AI Software Engineering Intern to help build and expand our internal AI tool used for inventory management purchasing optimization and manufacturing decision support. This role is ideal for a recent BS graduate who is resourceful independent and excited to build full-stack AI features with minimal guidance.
You will be working directly with leadership and internal stakeholders. We need someone who can learn fast troubleshoot on their own and embrace a vibe coding approach: figuring things out through exploration iteration and creative problem-solving.
Only local candidates who have graduated with a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering and can commit to a full time on-site role for 3 months will be considered. This is a fully onsite role 5 days in office at our Mountain View location off the N Shoreline Blvd 101 exit.
Job responsibilities include the following:
- Work with leadership and internal stakeholders to refine requirements and translate ambiguous goals into working code. Refining requirements and understanding exactly how the data structure is used out of our manufacturing system and API will be critical.
- Build new features for our internal AI platform using Python Streamlit and the OpenAI API.
- Integrate debug and optimize data workflows using the MISys Manufacturing REST API and our BronzeSilverGold data architecture.
- Develop clean functional pages for inventory visibility purchasing logic and AI-generated insights.
- Troubleshoot issues end-to-endincluding data extraction caching errors and deploymentindependently.
- Iterate rapidly: quickly prototype ideas test refine and ship features.

- Ability to self-teach experiment vibe code and figure it out without step-by-step instructions. This work is to build out an internal tool and not to work on our product as such there will be no internal software engineering team to support you.
- Python skills and familiarity with web app development (Streamlit preferred).
- Experience working with APIs JSON and data manipulation in Python.
- Experience with OpenAI API or other LLM/AI tools
- Exposure to manufacturing ERP/MRP systems or supply chain systems
Benefits- Full time (36 hours/week) paid hourly role for 3 months.
- Role is expandable to 6 months dependent on feature build out
- Catered lunches every Monday and Wednesday
- Internship will run from January - March 2026.
