Job Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION
*Performs skilled work in preparing needed materials and other surfaces on automotive equipment for painting and in applying lacquers primers synthetic enamels polyurethane and epoxy with spray guns and other auto painting equipment to automotive; and does related work.
Requirements/ Qualifications
1. A Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Auto Painter.
2. Specialized in Auto Painting.
3. Previous work in gulf Region is an advantage.
4. Knowledgeable in painting techniques tools and materials.
5. Ability to mix and match colors to create custom shades.
6. Certification from previous employment.
7. Video of applicant showing step by step procedure from start to finish is an advantage.
Responsibilities
1. Complete paint application
2. Complete minor repairs including sanding and grinding
3. Complete paint preparation including color matching and mixing
4. Execute standardized work as defined
5. Ensure all equipment is maintained repaired and cleaned as required
6. Buffing Sanding Taper Primer Painting
7. Able to identify imperfections both up close and at a distance identify variances in color
8. Carry out dent repair masking sanding and grinding to ensure sound bodywork
