Job Summary
A highly successful Ofsted Outstanding Academy in Yorkshire is seeking an enthusiastic knowledgeable and dedicated Business & Economics ECT to join its thriving Social Sciences faculty.
Job Overview
Our client is recruiting for a Business & Economics ECT to begin in September 2025 or January 2026. This academically ambitious academy is known for its high-performing Sixth Form strong university outcomes and exceptional ECT induction programme.
The successful candidate will teach GCSE Business Studies A-Level Business and A-Level Economics working with articulate motivated pupils who show genuine interest in finance enterprise and economic theory. Lessons will be analytical engaging and grounded in real-world application.

Business & Economics ECT Experience & Qualifications
- Degree in Business Economics or related discipline
- PGCE/QTS completed by 202526
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Strong curriculum understanding
- Ability to inspire stretch and support learners
- The legal right to work in the UK
