About the Role

Are you passionate about supporting children during lunchtime and ensuring they have a safe enjoyable and positive experience at school Teaching Personnel are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Redbridge London that is seeking a dedicated and caring Midday Meal Supervisor to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to pupils wellbeing and create a nurturing school environment where every child feels supported.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise children during lunch breaks both in the dining hall and playground
• Promote positive behaviour and ensure a safe respectful environment
• Encourage healthy eating habits and good table manners
• Support children in resolving minor conflicts and maintaining positive relationships
• Assist in organising and supervising play activities ensuring all pupils are included
• Monitor pupils wellbeing and report any concerns to the appropriate staff
• Ensure school policies and safeguarding procedures are followed at all times

What Were Looking For

• Understanding of positive behaviour support strategies
• Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential
• A calm friendly and proactive approach to supervising pupils
• Ability to promote inclusion and support children of all ages and backgrounds
• Good communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Reliability patience and a genuine interest in supporting childrens wellbeing
