Job Responsibilities: -GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment operation may be required. -Provide oral hygiene dental treatment and oral hygiene care and education in accordance with guidelines approved issued and regulated by the state in which they work. -Apply fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus stain and plaque from above and below the gum line. -Provide nutritional counseling and self-care programs to prevent disease. -Record and review patient medical histories. -Uphold office policy including HIPAA & OSHA. -Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. -Order and keep track of inventory as needed. -Other duties as assigned. Work Environment: -This job operates in a medical/clinical environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers x-rays and phones. -This job operates in a well-lighted sterile environment. Employees must wear gloves masks protective eye wear and clothing to protect themselves and their patients from infectious disease. Physical Demands: -The employee frequently is required to talk and hear; stand and/or sit for long periods of time; walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. -While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to blood and blood-borne pathogens and/or physical risks which will require OSHA training.
