Job Summary

We are hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)- Multiple Shifts for one of our clients in Penn Yan NY.

Job Description:

Residents ADLs needs are met as outlined in the plan of care and in accordance with policies and procedures within a safe and comfortable environment; including hygiene grooming dressing incontinence/catheter care elimination/toileting needs turning/positioning skin care etc. Documentation completed per protocol.
Residents environment and safety to be maintained as outlined in the plan of care and in accordance with policies and procedures; including answering call lights and alarms promptly provision of safety mats and low beds restraint use under the direction of Nursing maintaining cleanliness of unit behavior and fall prevention appropriate use of and monitoring for malfunctioning equipment etc. Documentation completed per protocol.
Residents nutritional needs will be met as outlined in the plan of care and in accordance with policies and procedures including meal delivery tray preparation adaptive equipment feeding nourishments etc.
Residents preferences and choices shall be honored. Documentation completed per protocol.
Residents rehabilitative (restorative and maintenance) needs are met as outlined in plan of care and in accordance with policies and procedures including range of motion ambulation transfers proper body alignment and use of assistive devices. Documentation completed per protocol.
Residents rights refusals and concerns are reported to Charge and/or Supervising Nurse in a timely fashion in accordance with policies and procedures.
Changes in resident physical emotional and psychosocial status are identified and reported to Charge Nurse promptly.
Occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens is reasonably anticipated.
Required tasks involve potential contact with blood body fluids or tissues.

Certifications:

NYS Nursing Assistant Certification Required BLS (AHA)

Education required:

Must have High School Diploma or GED.

Experience required:

One (1) Year experience in LTC or CNA capacity
Must be Licensed for 1 year

CNA - PT Evenings	786340	3	*Must be able to begin orientation (full shift) on a Tuesday or Thursday PT Evenings (5x7.5s) EOW Holiday
CNA - PT D/N	786338	4	*Candidate must be able to attend first-day orientation on a Tues/Thurs Part Time Day/Night shifts as needed (2x8 one week 3x8 next week) EOW Holidays
CNA - PT D/E	786337	1	*Must be able to attend full-day orientation on a Tues/Thurs Part Time Day/Eves (2x8s/3x8s) EOW Holiday
CNA - FT Nights	786334	2	Full Time Nights (5x7.5s) EOW Holiday required
CNA - FT D/E	786333	1	Full time day/evening shift rotation (7.5 hours x 5 days/wk) every other weekend holidays required *Must be available to start full day orientation on a Tuesday or Thursday
